about.
Run by artists, Assemblage does not adopt one position, style or attitude. Our aim is to create a dialogue across mediums, genres and concepts. We allow what concerns us in our studios to inform our ideas for the magazine and conversely, our writing complements our artistic practices. Interviews with other artists, from the emerging to the established, are intended to mirror the discussions that take place between artists in the studio.
We hope you enjoy the magazine!

We have had a blast running Assemblage over the past 4 years but the time has come for us both to focus more on our own personal projects. For now, we are putting a pause on our activities with the magazine for the foreseeable future. We wanted to say a huge thank you to all of the amazing contributors who have been involved with Assemblage - it has been a pleasure working with you all.
In light of this, we are unfortunately not taking any new enquiries or submissions at this time.
